Welcome to AssignDevs! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and recruitment services.

By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. Our Services

AssignDevs provides recruitment and placement services, connecting software developers, engineers, architects, and IT professionals with companies globally.

We Provide:

  • Candidate sourcing and screening
  • Interview coordination
  • Offer negotiation support
  • 60-day placement guarantee (for clients)
  • Career guidance (for developers)

We Do NOT Provide:

  • Ongoing employee management
  • Payroll or benefits administration
  • Legal or immigration advice
  • Guarantee of employment or hiring

2. Who Can Use Our Services

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal capacity to enter contracts
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use services lawfully and professionally

3. User Conduct

You Agree To:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully
  • Honor commitments made through our platform
  • Comply with applicable laws
  • Respect others' privacy and intellectual property

You Must NOT:

  • • Provide false or misleading information
  • • Misrepresent skills, experience, or qualifications
  • • Use fake credentials or references
  • • Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others
  • • Attempt to circumvent our fees or agreements
  • • Spam or send unsolicited communications
  • • Violate intellectual property rights

4. Fees and Payments (For Companies)

Companies engaging our services agree to:

  • Pay placement fees as outlined in Service Agreement
  • Standard fee: 20% of first-year salary (15% for startups)
  • Payment due per agreed schedule
  • Late payments subject to 2% monthly interest
  • No refunds except as specified in placement guarantee

For Developers: AssignDevs NEVER charges developers any fees. All costs are paid by hiring companies.

5. No Guarantees

We provide services on an "as is" basis. We do NOT guarantee:

  • Employment placement for developers
  • Candidate quality or performance for companies
  • Specific results or timelines
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Accuracy of all information provided by users

Success depends on qualifications, market conditions, interview performance, and many other factors beyond our control.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, and materials are owned by AssignDevs:

  • Website design and code
  • AssignDevs logo and branding
  • Written content and resources
  • Business processes and methodologies

You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without permission. You retain ownership of content you provide (resumes, portfolios).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AssignDevs is NOT liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Employment decisions or outcomes
  • Candidate or client conduct
  • Third-party actions or content
  • Security breaches beyond our control

Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid to us in the past 12 months.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any business information, candidate details, client information, and terms of agreements shared during our engagement. Confidentiality obligations survive termination for 2 years.

9. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or behave inappropriately.

After termination: Outstanding obligations remain (fees, agreements), confidentiality continues, and we'll handle your data per our Privacy Policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

If disputes arise:

  1. Good Faith Discussion: We'll try to resolve issues through direct communication (30 days)
  2. Mediation: If needed, we'll attempt mediation
  3. Legal Action: As a last resort, disputes will be resolved through courts in Lahore, Pakistan (or as agreed in Service Agreement)

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. For international clients, specific jurisdictions may be agreed upon in separate Service Agreements.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We'll notify you of material changes via email or website banner. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms and any Service Agreements constitute the entire agreement
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remains enforceable
  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right
  • Independent Relationship: No employment, partnership, or agency relationship is created
  • Assignment: You cannot transfer these Terms without our consent
